NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting ILT (Semi-Automatic and Revolver)

Description:
This official NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting Course ILT (Semi-Automatic and Revolver) teaches the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary for safely owning and using a pistol. You will learn about pistol parts and operation, ammunition, gun safety, and shooting fundamentals. Students will complete live fire training and a nationally standardized shooting qualification with an NRA Certified Instructor. This course is intended for all individuals regardless of previous shooting experience or NRA-affiliation.

A desire to learn.

Details:
You will learn about pistol parts and operation, ammunition, gun safety, pistol shooting fundamentals, and pistol shooting activities. At the range, you will practice the fundamentals shooting .22 caliber revolver or semi-automatic target pistol. You will also have the opportunity to experience .380 caliber subcompact and 9mm full-size semi-automatic SA/DA and striker fired semi-automatic pistols and .22 caliber, .38 Special, and .357 Magnum SA/DA revolvers.

Materials:
You will receive the NRA Guide: Basics of Pistol Shooting handbook, take a Basics of Pistol Shooting Student Examination, and receive a course completion certificate bearing the signature of the NRA Secretary and your NRA Certified Instructor.

$120 (including ammo, targets, eye and ear protection) plus range fees per student (approximately $20)
