NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting ILT (Semi-Automatic)

Description:
This official NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting Course ILT (Semi-Automatic) teaches the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary for safely owning and using a pistol. You will learn about pistol parts and operation, ammunition, gun safety, and shooting fundamentals. Students will complete live fire training and a nationally standardized shooting qualification with an NRA Certified Instructor. This course is intended for all individuals regardless of previous shooting experience or NRA-affiliation.

A desire to learn.

Details:
You will learn about semi-automatic pistol parts and operation, ammunition, gun safety, shooting fundamentals, and pistol shooting activities. At the range, you will practice the fundamentals shooting .22 caliber semi-automatic target pistol. You will also have the opportunity to experience .380 caliber subcompact and 9mm full-size semi-automatic SA/DA and striker fired semi-automatic pistols.

Materials:
You will receive the NRA Guide: Basics of Pistol Shooting handbook, take a Basics of Pistol Shooting Student Examination, and receive a course completion certificate bearing the signature of the NRA Secretary and your NRA Certified Instructor.

$100 (including ammo, target, eye and ear protection) plus range fees per student (approximately $20)
